Gene and Roseelia DiVincenzo of North Lima celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 26.

The couple exchanged wedding vows on that date in 1962 at St. Charles Church in Boardman, where they are members.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

The 20-member family will celebrate the DiVincenzo anniversary during a trip this summer.

Mrs. DiVincenzo retired as a registered nurse from the American Red Cross. She also worked as an RN at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown and is active in a local Catholic nurses group.

Mr. DiVincenzo retired as an electrical engineer from Millennium Controls in North Lima, a company that he founded.

He also worked at Wean United in Warren and several other engineering firms. He served in the Air Wing of the U.S. Marine Corps. He has built several airplanes and enjoys flying.

The couple volunteer to set up Mass at local nursing homes.
