Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. Box 780, Youngstown, Ohio, 44501-0780. For verification, include a name and phone number of a contact person, which will not be published.

Who: Coalburg United Methodist Church.

What: “Sonrise — National Park VBS” is the theme.

When: 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 11-15.

Where: Church, 1906 Wick Campbell Road, Hubbard.

Details: The free program is for children from preschool through youth. The VBS students will be in charge of a service at 9:30 a.m. June 17.

Who: Westminster Presbyterian, St. Charles Borromeo and Bethel Lutheran churches.

What: “Sky” is the theme.

When: 6 to 8: 30 p.m. June 11-15.

Where: St. Charles, 7325 Westview Drive (Route 224) , Boardman.

Details: The program is for children from 4 years old through fifth grade. Cost is $10 per child and up to $30 per family. The interfaith program focuses on teaching that all things are possible with God. Children will participate in activities that illustrate situations that they might face in which trusting God would be the solution.
