Student receives scholarship

Roselyn Gadd, right, of Girard Junior Women, presents a scholarship to Sahara Stauffer of Girard High School. The organization is dedicated to raising money for the Girard community, and student scholarships are a priority on the project list. The group also recently donated to the Emmanuel Center and has plans to plant flowers in downtown Girard. New members are welcome. For information visit the Girard Junior Women Facebook page.
