BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY

Timothy K. Taft II, a 2008 Fitch High School graduate, graduated summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University May 5 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha and Phi Alpha Theta honor societies, a dean’s list honoree for eight semesters, a finalist for the Outstanding Senior Award and a tour guide in the Office of Admissions for three years. He has secured a full- time position as an inside sales representative at The SpyGlass Group, Inc. in Westlake. Tim is the son of Michele and Dave McLaughlin of Austintown and Tim and Amy Taft of Fredericksburg, Va., and the grandson of Robert and Evelyn Cozadd of Youngstown and John (Tim) and Virginia Taft of Austintown.

Kent Lamont Wallace II of Boardman has become recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at Youngstown State University. Sigma Alpha Lamba is dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunties for community service, personal development and lifelong professional fulfillment.

Megan Elaine Ault has graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies, political science and urban studies. She is the daughter of Sherry and Robert Ault and a 2008 valedictorian at Mineral Ridge High School. Ault graduated summa cum laude as a University Scholar and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and also has been elected to membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the honor societies of Pi Sigma Alpha, Phi Eta Sigma, and Omicron Delta Kappa. Ault was among about 6,000 students receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh’s campus in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.
