W.Va. biker killed after striking car, school bus

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va.

A Northern Panhandle biker is dead after slamming into both a car and a school bus.

Authorities say 44-year-old Jeffrey Brennan of Newell hit a car on his side of Route 8 near New Manchester, then smashed into the bus Wednesday afternoon. No students were aboard at the time.

Hancock County Sheriff Mike White tells WTOV-TV the bus driver was unhurt.

Witnesses say a line of cars was waiting to turn, and Brennan was unable to stop.
