Liberty High's 'night to stand proud'

LIBERTY

Liberty High School graduated 110 seniors Friday evening with all the pomp and circumstance befitting them.

Proud family and friends crowded the stands at the high school stadium in the evening’s muggy heat.

Speakers, including class president Fred Clark, salutatorian Jacob Schriner-Briggs and valedictorian Sara Esmail

reflected on their four years in high school and reiterated a common idea: No matter where members of the class of 2012 go, they’ll never forget their high-school years.

“It’s a night of smiles and even a few tears,” Clark said as he welcomed the class. “It’s our night to stand proud.”
