Canfield alumnus plans triathlon for charity

GAHANNA, OHIO

Fred Felter, a 1995 Canfield High School graduate, is announcing his plans to complete an iron distance triathlon event Aug. 25 in the Gahanna, Ohio, area to raise money and awareness for three charities under the normal 17-hour cutoff.

He will swim 2.4 miles for the Keith Falk Memorial Fund, bike 112 miles for the National MS Society, and run 26.2 miles for the MaccaNow Foundation to fight breast cancer.

Anyone who matches dollar per mile ($140.60) will receive a custom-made T-shirt.
