Yarnells mark 60th anniversary at dinner party

YOUNGSTOWN

A dinner party took place May 14 to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of Robert D. and Joan E. Yarnell.

The event was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Lesko of Youngstown, in the Leskos’ home.

The Yarnells also are parents of a son, the late Michael L. Yarnell.

Mr. Yarnell and the former Joan E. Gordon were married in 1952 in Emmanuel Baptist Church in Youngstown and are both members of the church.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II, Mr. Yarnell was a press operator at Chrysler Co. in Twinsburg before retiring in 1989.

Mrs. Yarnell retired in 1995 as a press operator at General Motors in Lordstown.
