Mustang car club seeks new members

The Mahoning Valley Mustangs Club invites all Ford Mustang enthusiasts to its annual membership drive from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Quaker Steak & Lube, 435 Boardman-Poland Road.

Drive your Ford Mustang to the restaurant. Those who register will receive a discount on food purchase. The event will include a DJ, basket raffles and drawings.

The club meets the second Sunday of every month at the Canfield Township Building. For information go to mvmustangs.org.

Art gallery receives collection of works

The TAG Collection, a group of paintings and drawings by artists Marko Spalatin, Sonia Delaunay and Edward Benedictus, is now on exhibit at Trumbull Art Gallery, 196-198 E. Market St., through June 9. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The collection was donated to the gallery by Huntington Bank, said Pat Galgozy, executive director of the TAG.

Farmer’s market seeks vendors

The Firestone Park Festival of the Arts, slated for Aug. 4, will add a farmer’s market this year.

Plant, fruit and vegetable, homemade baked goods, pies, jams and jellies, and other vendors are being sought.
