Surprise party marks Borrellis’ 50th anniversary

Joe and Patty Borrelli of Warren marked their 50th wedding anniversary May 19.

They were honored at a surprise party April 1 hosted by their children at DeLucia’s Banquet Center in Warren. Many friends and family members attended the event, which featured a replica of the couple’s original wedding cake.

The couple’s children are Joan (Jim) Necastro of Columbia, S.C., and John Borrelli of Santa Fe, N.M. The family is completed by a grandson, Neal.

Mr. Borrelli is retired from Copperweld Steel in Warren.

Mrs. Borrelli, who is the former Patty Long, retired as a clerical employee who worked for various companies in the Warren area.
