Korhans mark golden year of marriage

AUSTINTOWN

Rich and Jo Korhan of Austintown celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding May 5 with an evening of dinner and dancing at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield. Family and friends attended the event, which honored Mr. Korhan and the former Josephine Chianello.

The couple were married May 5, 1962, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

The Korhan family includes two daughters, Rhonda Korhan of Austintown, and Roxann Korhan of Youngstown.

Mrs. Korhan is a homemaker and does volunteer work.

Mr. Korhan retired in 2007 as a tool-and-die maker at General Motors in Lordstown. He served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969, achieving the rank of Specialist 4.

The couple are members of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.
