Anthony and Margaret Ann Frattaroli of Struthers celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding April 29 with an afternoon dinner at Bruno’s Restaurant in Boardman.

The dinner was hosted by their children, daughter Felicia and son-in-law Dr. Scott Tofil of Struthers, and son Anthony and daughter-in-law Karen Frattaroli of Poland. Rounding out the family are six grandchildren: Joey, Nina, Carle, McKenzie, Taylor and Mitchell.

Mr. Frattaroli and the former Margaret Ann Wilcheck were married April 28, 1962, at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown. They plan to renew their wedding vows at St. Columba Cathedral, also in Youngstown, on June 24 with Bishop George V. Murry officiating.

Mr. Frattaroli retired in 2011 as co-owner of Frattaroli’s Sparkle Market in Struthers, after working there for 35 years. He is a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Nicholas (Christ Our Savior) Church. He also is a member of several organizations, including the church’s Altar & Rosary Society, Youngstown Area Sparkle Market Association and Knights of Columbus in Struthers.

Mrs. Frattaroli, also a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and of St. Nicholas (Christ Our Savior) Church, worked as an assistant in the office of Dr. I.S. Knight. She is a homemaker and a volunteer at Akron Children’s Hospital.
