Donofrios mark 60th anniversary of their wedding

YOUNGSTOWN

Retired Judge and Mrs. Joseph Donofrio of Youngstown observed their 60th wedding anniversary May 6 during a celebration hosted by their children and grandchildren.

The couple have four children: Gene and Janet Donofrio of Canfield, Joanne and Howie Franks of Austintown, Anthony and Cheri Donofrio of Youngstown, and Judy and Mario Ricciardi of Boardman. The Donofrio family includes 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild expected in July.

The former Angela Neri and Judge Donofrio were married May 3, 1952, at Sacred Heart Church. They are members of St. Christine Church.

Judge Donofrio served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was on the bench of municipal courts from 1965 to 1972 and was with the 7th District Court of Appeals before retiring in 1993. He is a member of various civic and charitable organizations.

Mrs. Donofrio is a homemaker.
