Thompson-Brown wedding plans are announced

Lauren Thompson of Pickerington, Ohio, and Matt Brown of Blacklick, Ohio, are engaged and making plans for their wedding.

The engagement is being announced by Ron and Darlene Brown of Boardman, parents of the prospective groom.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Tom and Denise Thompson of Pickerington.

The wedding ceremony will take place July 21 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Pickerington. An evening reception will be at the Columbus Athenaeum in Columbus.

Invitations will be extended for both events.

Miss Thompson earned a bachelor’s degree in math education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, both from Otterbein College. She is a math teacher at Fairfield Career and Technical School in Carroll, Ohio.

Mr. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Otterbein College and a master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Toledo. He is an assistant athletic trainer and instructor at Capital University in Columbus.
