Police: Man sets SUV on fire, spreads to store in Springfield Ohio

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) — Deputies say a man is in custody after he set his SUV on fire and the flames spread to a small food market in southwest Ohio.

Authorities near Springfield say the suspect was taking pictures of the fire with his cellphone when they arrived at the store this morning.

WHIO-TV in Dayton reports that firefighters were able to contain the fire and save the store from too much damage.

The fire happened before the market had opened. No one was injured.
