Race track is ready for the Preakness

Horse-racing fans can watch and wager on the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes Saturday at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort.

Mountaineer will feature the second leg of the Triple Crown live via simulcast from Pimlico both trackside and in the casino’s simulcast parlor. Advanced wagering will begin at the simulcast parlor at 10 a.m. with trackside opening at noon. Pimlico first race post time is 10:30 a.m. Post time for the Preakness is expected at 6:18 p.m.

Led by author and professional writer Nancy Christie, the session will include writing exercises and discussions.
