‘Fun in the Park’ will feature ribs, chicken

King Solomon Lodge 87 will sponsor the annual “Fun in the Park” family barbecue from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Packard Park Shelter House, Mahoning Avenue N.W.

The menu features ribs or chicken dinners with a choice of three sides: cabbage, mean greens, coleslaw, black-eyed peas and rice, potato salad, or macaroni and cheese. The meal also includes bread and dessert. The cost of a dinner is a $10 donation. Ribs also can be purchased at $18 for a full slab, $9 for a half slab or $9 for a sandwich.
