A former Mercer County man is charged with hundreds of counts related to child sexual abuse, including rape.
State Police in Mercer County said the FBI arrested Michael David Lewis, 40, in Nashville, Tenn., where he now lives, May 8. He is awaiting extradition back to Mercer.
His victims were three girls who ranged in age from 9 to 14 during the attacks, which were at a residence in Jackson Township between 2009 and 2011, state police reported.
Lewis is charged with 120 counts of rape of a child; 120 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child; 121 counts of aggravated indecent assault; two counts of indecent assault; 142 counts of corruption of minors; two counts of furnishing liquor to minors; 12 counts of attempted rape of a child; two counts of sexual abuse of children; 120 counts of unlawful contact with a minor; and one count of attempt to commit indecent assault.

At-Risk Enterprise, an advocacy and service agency from Columbus, will give a presentation intended to expose attendees to the decision-making processes that drive youth engaged in at-risk behaviors.
The event, open to the public, will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the YWCA, 375 North Park Ave.
