Eric Church concert was another sell-out
Youngstown
Saturday’s concert by country music star Eric Church at Covelli Centre was sold out, according to a statement from Eric Ryan, director of the downtown arena. The arena holds about 6,300 for concerts.
The concert was the fourth sell-out at Covelli Centre in recent months. The others were Monster Trucks, Miranda Lambert and Sugarland.
Joan Jett concert at Mountaineer

Duo to perform at opera house

The Cleveland Duo, which consists of Carolyn Gadiel Warner and Stephen Warne, and James Umble will perform in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pierce Opera House, 100 N. Mercer Ave. The groundbreaking classical music trio utilizes violin, piano and saxophone in a repertoire that ranges from classical themes to folk, ethnic and contemporary. Tickets are $20. Youth choir to sing at festival in June

The Warren City-Wide Youth Choir will perform at the June 3 African-American Achievers festival at 4:30 p.m. on Courthouse Square. The group has more than 70 participants and is open to all youths and young adults of any church affiliation, age 5 to 35.
