Liberty Relay for Life starts Friday

The opening ceremony for the American Cancer Society 2012 Relay For Life at Liberty’s Churchill Park is at 6 p.m. Friday . The park is located on the west side of Belmont Avenue (state Route 193) near state Route 304.

The survivor/caregiver ceremony immediately follows the opening ceremony. Other entertainment and activities are scheduled throughout the event including a luminaria ceremony at 9 p.m. Friday. The closing ceremony is 5 p.m. Saturday.
