City police are investigating an aggravated robbery and a felonious assault taking place in separate incidents Sunday and early Monday.
The felonious assault was reportedly over a man trying to reclaim a computer that he says was stolen.
A 22-year-old Wakefield Avenue victim told police he has been living with the man who assaulted him for several days at an unknown address on Brownlee Avenue. The victim said his roommate confronted him about the missing computer, got mad and hit him with a detached guardrail from the house.
The victim said his roommate, after hitting him with the guardrail, put a gun to his head and threatened to shoot him. He broke free and ran to a friend’s house, reports say.
According to police reports, four men between the ages of 19 and 22 were robbed as they were walking in the Kendis Circle housing development late Sunday night.
The men told police they were walking behind one of the buildings when two men approached them with one of the men pulling out a silver handgun. The armed thieves demanded their possessions.
Reports say the thieves made off with birth certificates, identification cards, $55, a bus pass and four free government cellphones.
The thieves fired about five shots into the air as they made off with the stolen merchandise, reports say.
