Sissy Stubbs hit a triple and two doubles to lead Western Reserve on Sunday. Stubbs scored three runs in the sectional final. On the mound, Stubbs (7-3) struck out four and walked one. Also for the Blue Devils, Brittney Lude homered and scored twice while Marley Oles’ two hits includeda double and drove in three runs. Alexis Little’s three hits included a double. Alexis Lude and April Lude also doubled. For the Rebels, Lindsey Balomente’s two hits included a double. Also with two hits were Bri Cope and Adrianne Hurston.

Salem’s Mitch Maroscher defeated Poland’s Garrett Gardner by scores of 6-0, 7-5 on Saturday to win the Division II singles tournament. In the semifinals, Maroscher defeated Field’s Brad Losey (6-0, 6-1) while Gardner defeated Warren JFK’s Jad Abdul-Aal (5-7, 6-2, 6-2). In the third-place match, Abdul-Aal defeated Losey (6-2, 6-3). In doubles, Lakeview’s Zach McDivitt and Aaron Paczak defeated Warren JFK’s Tyler Cole and John Nader (6-4, 6-4). In the semifinals, McDivitt-Paczak defeated Salem’s Jay Linam and Andrew Pietrzak (6-1, 6-2). Cole-Nader defeated Poland’s Ryan Calcagni-David Shoffstaff (6-2, 6-3). In the third-place summary, Linam-Pietrzak Calcagni-Shoffstall, 6-4, 6-4.
