Winning Mother's Day photo says it all

My Mother, My Friend

The response to our Mother’s Day Photo Contest was great! Not only did we get a ton of pictures, but the majority of them were accompanied by incredibly tender tributes from daughter to mother.

As for the winning entry, what you see here is a picture that is, indeed, worth a thousand words — submitted by Tricia Jones of her and her mother, Joanie Jones. Both are of Austintown.

Although the picture alone could accurately define the friendship between this mother and daughter, here is the brief note that Tricia included:

“My mother is my biggest supporter and the most influential character in my life. She serves as a fantastic role model and someone who I always enjoy spending time with and with whom there is never a dull moment! I never thought I would turn out to be just like her, but I can’t imagine any better footsteps to follow!”

Tricia and Joan will receive a $100 gift card for the two of them to share at Bruno's Restaurant, U.S. Route 224, Poland.
