‘The Last Victim’ is true crime story

CANTON

In their book “The Last Victim,” authors Chris Rudy and George W. Davis present the true story of a man they think is one of, if not the most, dangerous criminals in Northeast Ohio history.

The tale is of William Edward Griffith Jr., whose criminal acts of voyeurism and rape spanned three decades and six states. He reached notoriety as a serial rapist before he came across Melissa Brown, who became his last victim.

The book takes readers through the investigation that eventually led to Griffith’s imprisonment. It is for sale online at Amazon.com.

Rudy is a law-enforcement officer, detective and graduate of the FBI Academy. Davis is an award-winning journalist.

A book signing will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Main Library in Canton, 715 Market Ave. North.
