Feds restore funding to help Valley businesses work with government

YOUNGSTOWN

Funding for a program that helped local businesses establish relationships with the federal government is expected to flow into the Mahoning Valley again, after a lull resulting from an audit.

Eastgate Regional Council of Governments and the Mahoning Valley Economic Development Corporation usually receive about $160,000 annually, which they share, from the Department of Defense’s procurement funds.
