Elizabeth Ann Baker and Adam Michael Baumgarten were united in marriage Feb. 11 at the historic Capitale in New York City.

Andrew R. Bednar presided over the vows for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Baker of Lake Milton and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Baumgarten of Edison, N.J.

After the ceremony the couple received congratulations at a cocktail reception and dinner.

Wearing a formal ball gown embellished with lace and tulle, and featuring a Swarovski crystal belt and cathedral-length veil, the bride was escorted by her father.

Attending the bride in red dresses were Marci Blinderman, maid of honor, and bridesmaids Maureen Lambert, Lindsay Isgrig, Catherine Shumaker, Brittany Lockerbie and Laura Bibbo.

Sharing the duties of best man were Jeremy Baumgarten and Evan Baumgarten, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Jordan Baumgarten, the groom’s cousin, and Adam Goldberg, William Antone and Zachary Miller.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and is employed as a senior accounts manager at Cutline Communications in New York.

Mr. Baumgarten graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a senior research associate at Macquarie Capital in New York.

After a honeymoon in southern France, the couple are making their home in New York.
