Dr. Lamberson, Mr. Mathes to wed in June ceremony

Dr. Linda Cooper and Rodney Lamberson of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Vita June Cooper Lamberson, to Michael Terry Mathes, both of Nashville, Tenn.

The prospective groom is the son of Janice Terry- Mathes and Stanley Mathes of Danville, Pa.

The couple are planning an evening wedding June 16 at Front Porch Farms in Nashville. A reception will take place at the same location. Invitations will be issued for both .

Dr. Lamberson earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Bucknell University and an M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is a pediatric resident physician at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.

Mr. Mathes earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and Spanish from Bucknell, a master’s degree in economics from the University of Cincinnati and is a Ph.D candidate in economics at Vanderbilt University, where he is a graduate assistant.
