A weekly summer resident camp for youth is offered from June 17-July 29.
The camp also is used year-round for retreats planned by the Program Team or individualized and planned by individual groups. It also serves as a base for Servant Event groups. Family Camp is being offered this year. Participants may opt for their tents or campers or use lodge facilities.
The camp began in 1932 when F.C. Reese donated the land for a Boy Scout camp, which was used for a few years. J. Allan Frederick then owned the property and offered it for use to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman. It was known as Camp Westminster for several years. In 1964, a group of local pastors began looking for property suitable for a camp. After locating this property and working with Frederick, Camp Frdderick came into existance.
The camp is fully accredited by the American Camp Association.
