Betsy Velazquez, Angel Robles plan June ceremony

Betsy Velazquez Santana of Youngstown and Angel M. Robles Alago of Copperas Cove, Texas, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Benito Velazquez Vazquez of Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, and Nercy Santana Diaz of Youngstown. The prospective groom is the son of Angel Manuel Robles Vazquez of Comerio, Puerto Rico, and Ana Maria Alago Gonzalez of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

The couple will marry in an open ceremony at 2:30 p.m. June 16 in Anne Kilcawley Christman Memorial Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. A reception by invitation will take place at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, also in Youngstown.

Miss Santana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human resources from DeVry University. She is a deputy clerk with Youngstown Municipal Court.

Mr. Alago attended Interamerican University in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He is a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army in Fort Hood, Texas.
