United way Awards recipients

The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley presented these awards at its 2011 annual meeting:

2011 Volunteer of the Year: Franklin Bennett, Youngstown attorney.

2011 Labor Leadership Award: Jim Graham, president of United Auto Workers Local 1112.

2011 Campaign Chairwoman: Cynthia Anderson, president of Youngstown State University.
