Niles Middle School will send team to finals

Niles Middle School will send its DestiNation ImagiNation team to the Global Finals competition May 23 through May 26 in Knoxville, Tenn.

The team recently took first place in the State of Ohio Tournament, which qualified them to compete with students from across the United States and more than 30 countries.

To raise funds to cover housing and meals, the team will sell raffle tickets for gift baskets and events from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Art Outreach Gallery inside the Eastwood Mall Complex.
