With so many undefeated teams entering Week 4 of the the YYFFA season this Sunday, games are becoming more and more important. This week will allow teams to separate themselves from the rest of the pack and start jockeying for playoff seeds.
The featured game this week in the 5-6 division will include the undefeated Miami Dolphins (4-0) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1). The contest will be played at 1 p.m. on Field Yellow.
This will be the Dolphins’ biggest challenge so far this season. Pittsburgh is coming off a tough overtime loss to the Saints and looks to bounce back with a win to stay in the top half of the “A” division.
In the 7-8 division, the undefeated Washington Redskins (4-0) will look to maintain sole possession of first place when they take on the Minnesota Vikings (3-1) at 2 p.m. on Field Red.
Both teams have high-powered offenses, so the winner of this game should be the team who is able to get that one key defensive stop.
The top 9-11 division contest will feature a pair of undefeated teams — the Minnesota Vikings (4-0) and the Miami Dolphins (4-0) at 4:30 p.m. on Field Blue.
Neither one of these teams have faced much of a challenge so far this season so when adversity hits, whichever team will be able to make the key plays will remain on track for a perfect season.
Youngstown Youth Flag Football Association games are played at Boardman High School on Sundays.
