Pa. man in custody after pipe bombs found

WARRINGTON, Pa. (AP) — Police have taken a man into custody a day after a bomb squad safely detonated explosive devices found inside his suburban Philadelphia home.

John Grzyminski was taken into custody this morning in Bucks County, a day after authorities say they found three pipe bombs inside his Warrington Township home.

Police say Grzyminski’s mother contacted them after getting into an argument with her son. Some nearby homes were evacuated while a bomb squad blew up the devices.

Grzyminski faces charges including risking a catastrophe and manufacturing weapons of mass destruction. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says the incident doesn’t appear to be connected with terrorism.
