Logan Kane had a triple and three RBIs while Phil Socha went 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs to lead Fitch. Zach Miller added two RBIs for the Falcons, who play at Howland today in a sectional final. Ron Sayers allowed one hit over five innings for the complete-game win. Brandon Miller had the hit for East, a single.

Division III

South Range 5, Brookfield 1

BEAVER TWP.

Winning pitcher Andy Lacefield (6-1) pitched all seven innings despite a long rain delay in the fourth inning. Lacefield struck out seven and walked one. He also doubled as did Bill Goodall. The Raiders (18-7) advance to play Girard on Monday at Cene Park. For Brookfield, Jeremy Quinlan tripled.

Division IV

McDonald 11, Wellsville 1

WELLSVILLE

Winning pitcher Nick Puntel tossed a five-inning three-hitter and had two hits to drive in four runs. Also getting two hits for the Blue Devils (16-6) were Mike Schuller and Brandon O’Neill. One of O’Neill’s hits was a double. Austin Bucan had two RBIs. McDonald advances to host Sebring today at 4:30 p.m.

Bristol 7, Southington 2

BRISTOLVILLE

Kevin Chirozzi hit a double and drove in two runs for Bristol (10-11). Austin Rimer allowed four hits and struck out six for the win. Zach Dibell also doubled and Zach Tomasiak had two RBIs for the Panthers, who play at Ledgemont today.

Minerva 5, West Branch 3

BELOIT

Brendan Wells tripled and doubled for the Warriors (14-11, 7-6 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Jeff Vizzuso doubled and drove in two runs while Beau Taylor doubled.

Carrollton 7, Salem 4

SALEM

Storm Haueter and Keaton O’Brien each had three hits for the Quakers (2-23, 0-14 NBC). For Carrollton (11-13, 4-10), Andrew Collins tripled and Storm Mohn doubled.
