Toledo casino gets license, opens May 29
COLUMBUS (AP) — Ohio’s casino regulators have given their approval to licensing the state’s second casino.
Penn National Gaming Inc. plans to open its Hollywood Casino in Toledo on May 29.
The Ohio Casino Control Commission voted unanimously today to hand out the license to the company that’s also developing a casino in Columbus.
The state’s first casino is due to open Monday in Cleveland.
Meanwhile, state senators plan to vote late today on a wide range of changes to Ohio’s gambling laws that will set the rules for casinos and slots-like video lottery terminals coming to the state.
