Lutheran church plans an ice cream social

POLAND

From 1 to 4 p.m. June 2, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 38 E. Midlothian Blvd., will sponsor an ice cream social to celebrate its 200th anniversary.

For $4 per person, patrons can partake of a Handel’s “Build Your Own” sundae bar from 2 to 3 p.m. Take a lawn chair and enjoy your ice cream on the lawn if you wish.

Inside the church, there will be karaoke from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by Ernie Valley’s “Elvis Lives On.”

Also available will be hot dogs off the grill, chips, pop, water, a bake sale and a 50-50 raffle.
