Poetry festival coming to Leetonia Library

LEETONIA

Leetonia Community Public Library has scheduled a poetry festival at 6:15 p.m. May 29.

Melissa McKenney, faculty member in the English Department at Youngstown State University, will moderate the event.

The deadline for entering original poems (limit 3 per person) is May 19. Poems can be dropped off or mailed to the library at 181 Walnut St., Leetonia, OH 44431. They can also be emailed to rohrbali@oplin.org.

Refreshments will be served at the event, and participants will get individual help from McKenney.
