Kite-flying festival is Saturday in Mill Creek MetroParks

CANFIELD — Mill Creek MetroParks will feature kites of all colors, shapes, and sizes dancing across the skies above the MetroParks Farm on Saturday.

Members of the Ohio Society for the Elevation of Kites and Fly Pittsburgh will display their collections and flying skills from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants are urged to bring their own kites to share the skies and enter a contest. For information on contests and kite resources, call 330-740-7107. The MetroParks Farm is on state Route 46 across from the Canfield Fairgrounds.
