Legal-cases lecture

CANFIELD

The Canfield Historical Society concludes its free spring lecture series at 7 p.m. Thursday with “Great Legal Cases in American History” by Judge Scott Hunter at the Bond House, 44 W. Main St. Hunter will highlight some of the cases that shaped, and in many cases reshaped, the political landscape of our nation.

Judge Hunter is a lifelong resident of Mahoning County and a graduate of Canfield High School, Youngstown State University and the Cincinnati College of Law. He is the administrative and presiding judge for the county courts. He also has a private law practice and is one of the owners of Hunter Stevens Land Title Agency. Elvis impersonator to perform at mall

Elvis Presley impersonator Mark Lee Pringle and the Blue Moon Band will give a free 25-minute performance at 6 p.m. Thursday in front of the Sears entrance inside Southern Park Mall as part of Mom’s Night Out.
