Senior Corps Week celebration is Thursday in Boardman

BOARDMAN — The HandsOn Volunteer Network of the Valley is celebrating Senior Corps Week with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at its offices at 5500 Market St., Suite 110.

RSVP, a nationwide volunteer program of Senior Corps sponsored locally by HandsOn Volunteer Network of the Valley, invites people 55 and older to use their experience and skills to volunteer to help their neighbors in need in Trumbull and Mahoning counties through nonprofit organizations.
