Repaving work starts next week in East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE — Ohio Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing work next Monday on state Route 170.

Route 170 will be resurfaced from the village’s southern border to state Route 165, and state Route 46 will be resurfaced from Route 170 to the village’s western border. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

ODOT’s contractor for the $487,202 project is The Shelly Co. from Thornville, and the completion date is July 31.
