Inspiring Minds honor area youths at event

Inspiring Minds sponsored the Inspired Tastes World Dining Tour on April 27 at St. Demetrios Community Center.

The fundraiser presented nearly 400 attendees with a menu of popular foods from eight countries, student entertainment, scholarship presentations and a Community Achievement Award.

Scholarships donated by businesses were presented to local high school seniors: Jalaya Provitt, Maria Tickerhoof, Sharn ze Roper, Brock Bogan and Kyler Jefferson.

Michelle Stoutamire, an English teacher at Warren G. Harding High School, received the Community Achievement Award for her dedication to her students.
