Going to shale-job session Monday? Don’t forget documents

Zane State College and Retrain America are partnering with Youngstown State University to offer the Shale Exploration Certification program. The program prepares qualified applicants for positions in the oil and gas industry, and assists participants in job placement.

An information session is scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday at YSU’s Metro College in Southwoods Commons, 100 DeBartolo Place, off Market Street in Boardman.

All interested candidates are strongly urged to attend today’s session. The program requires those interested to bring a valid driver’s license, birth certificate, Social Security card, pay stub (if employed), DD-214 if a veteran and a resume.
