“Community Connection” (7 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): The Youngstown Association of Black Professional Firefighters will have its second annual Sharyl Frasier-Everett Memorial Scholarship fundraiser. It honors Frasier-Everett, who was the first African-American female firefighter in Youngstown. Alvin Ware and Marsha Harris of the Youngstown Fire Department will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the life of Frasier- Everett and accomplishments she made for minorities.

Next, MaryAnn Cashier, St. Elizabeth Hospital stroke coordinator, and Christine Snipes, doctor of physical therapy at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, will discuss stroke awareness.

“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. Saturday on MyYTV): Host Andrea Mahone’s guests will be Ron Iarossi, superintendent of Mahoning County Educational Service Center, and Frank Lasseri, superintendent of the Boardman School District. They will discuss challenges affecting public schools.
