“Community Connection” (7 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): The Youngstown Association of Black Professional Firefighters will have its second annual Sharyl Frasier-Everett Memorial Scholarship fundraiser. It honors Frasier-Everett, who was the first African-American female firefighter in Youngstown. Alvin Ware and Marsha Harris of the Youngstown Fire Department will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the life of Frasier- Everett and accomplishments she made for minorities.
Next, MaryAnn Cashier, St. Elizabeth Hospital stroke coordinator, and Christine Snipes, doctor of physical therapy at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, will discuss stroke awareness.
