St. Monica Guild to meet Tuesday

St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Dinner to be benefit

HUBBARD

A spaghetti dinner to benefit disabled American veterans will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hubbard VFW Post 3767, 710 W. Liberty St.

The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Proceeds go to the Disabled American Veterans Trumbull County Chapter in Warren.

Dog rescue group plans fundraiser

STRUTHERS

Safe at Last Dog Rescue will partner with Chasen Perfection Nail Gallery from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday to raise funds that will benefit the group.

Mini-manicures and mini-pedicures will be available, and there will be a 50-50 raffle, basket auction and more. All ages are welcome. For information call 330-720-3074.

Baby bargains set at Boardman Park

Boardman Park will have its Annual Baby Bargain Boutique from 9 a.m. to noon May 19 at Masters Pavilion. Admission is free.

Keeping with tradition, Boardman Park promotes “green” recycling. The Baby Bargain Boutique helps with that. It’s a good way to buy usable clothing, toys, books, furniture and much more.

SOV plans open house to mark 40th year

Shepherd of the Valley plans a 40th anniversary open house from 1 to 4 p.m. May 20 at the flagship location, 1500 McKinley Ave.

The festivities will include free barbecue chicken dinner, children’s activities for ages 12 and under, strawberry recipe contest, basket raffle, DJ playing 1972 music and tours of new short-term rehab suites.
