Dinner theater at the Playhouse

Youngstown Playhouse will have a dinner show for the May 12 production of “Drood, the Musical.” Dinner begins at 6 p.m., followed by the musical at 7:30 p.m. Catered by the Fifth Season, the dinner will include a steamship round of beef, baked ham, stuffed shells, salad, side dishes and dessert. Free Comic Book Day at local stores

All-American Comics, with stores at 161 W. Market St., Warren, and 1295 Boardman- Canfield Road, Boardman, are two of thousands of comic-book shops around the world celebrating Free Comic Book Day on Saturday.

Comics will be given away from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
