Cause of $80K Hubbard garage fire remains undetermined

Firefighters say the cause of a garage fire likely will remain undetermined because the structure was burned so badly.

Members of the Eagle Joint Fire District were called to 1906 Mahoning Road about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday and had the flames out shortly after 7 p.m.

The estimated damage from the homeowner was about $80,000 because of the property, including a watercraft, in the garage, firefighters said.

One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion, but no other injuries were reported.
