‘Cinco De Meow’ planned in Salem

SALEM

From 1 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Sunday, the Humane Society of Columbiana County, 1825 S. Lincoln Ave., will host a 36-hour “Cinco De Meow and Bow-Wow” event to kick off “Pet Adoptathon.”

During the event HSCC will have an open house for tours of the shelter, along with a basket raffle and other activities.

Raffle tickets will go to anyone donating to the shelter. Items needed include laundry soap, paper towels, Kong pet toys, peanut butter, trash bags, latex gloves, clay kitty litter, bleach and gift cards. Wear your PJs and receive a prize.
