Taylor-Winfield gets tax break for move to Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN — City council approved legislation today to pave the way for Taylor-Winfield Technologies to receive a tax abatement to move its Hubbard facility to Youngstown.
Council authorized the board of control to give the company a 10-year, 75-percent real-property tax abatement for a new $2 million facility.
Taylor-Winfield, a metalworking-machinery company, rents space in Hubbard for its administrative and engineering office.
The company’s manufacturing location is in Youngstown’s Salt Springs Industrial Park. The company is buying that location and then plans to build a 16,500-square-foot facility next to it for its administrative and engineering operations.
