Saturday clinic will benefit pet owners in need

The fourth annual Charity Clinic Day to benefit the Bummer Fund will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Animal Care Hospital, 47 Hall Ave.

The Bummer Fund, a nonprofit organization in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties, provides financial assistance to responsible and qualified pet owners in times of financial and medical crisis.

During the clinic, regular-price veterinary exams and procedures such as nail trims, ear cleaning and vaccinations will be done by appointment. Proceeds will be donated to the Bummer Fund. A raffle of gift baskets also will be conducted. For an appointment, call 330-534-2000. Attending veterinarian is Dr. Charles Sung.
